Hindsight is as they say - 20/20. Being caught in the moment (aka impulse control) and the space between “conceptually” and “actually” are close relatives with different and similar results.

If the plan is, “Hopefully nothing bad happens”, I wouldn’t suggest that as a risk mitigation approach, unless you envision and accept a possible scenario of broken equipment and even potential injuries. I want to preface the following opinion with the statement, “I appreciate almost all of the truck enthusiast related content I have seen on the web and social media spaces including YouTube channels.” I appreciate movie level production videos; $100,000.00 builds and epic gladiator movie sound tracks in the background, as much as a guy in his one-car garage building a truck off of TEMU. I have yet to watch a single video, or nerd-out on a forum, blog or post without learning something.

Today’s current arena of social media and entering the economy and exchange of idea’s; your builds; approach; epic failures and content folks seem to appreciate or “clown you” for, is a bit like getting slammed onto the mat in front of the crowd at a high school wrestling tournament your freshman year. You will make mistakes and pay for them in sometimes embarrassing ways….. You also get to try cool s**t and create some great moments for yourself and others. Hopefully you discover the freedom attached to the fact - that nobody really cares anyway. It’s not personal and truthfully, who cares…?

So cheers to the spray painters and guy building his own cantilever suspension. Lord love’s a trier and I do too!
